Meliasa Robinson, DVM, FFCP
Medical Director, General Practice
Dr. Robinson is originally from Washington, D.C. She is a 2015 graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary medicine. After completing a specialty internship in Exotic medicine and surgery at South Wilton Veterinary Group, she went on to complete an additional specialty internship in Small Animal Surgery at Newtown Veterinary specialist in Connecticut. Upon completion of her specialty internships Dr. Robinson elected not to complete a residency. She felt that remaining in general practice would be the best way to not only utilize her skills but to help pet owners in need.
In 2017 Dr. Robinson moved to Philadelphia where she worked in a large emergency and general practice hybrid hospital. In 2019 Dr. Robinson joined the Saint Francis Veterinary team. She is looking forward to elevating the quality of medicine for exotic patients such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, both small and large birds as well as many other little furry and scaled friends. She is also excited to offer an array of surgical procedures that most general practices are not able to perform.
Dr. Robinson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her husband and daughter, playing basketball, and completing DIY home projects.
