Accreditation & Awards

Saint Francis Veterinary Center in Woolwich Township has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1992, and is the only three-time Finalist for Accredited Practice of the Year in North America (2012, 2014 and 2019), winning the award in 2019. Fewer than 15% of North America’s 29,000 animal hospitals achieve accreditation, based on regular comprehensive evaluations on more than 900 standards of veterinary care.

Saint Francis is also New Jersey’s first certified Level II 24 hour emergency trauma center, certified by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.

We are certified “Cat Friendly” by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).

In 2013, Saint Francis was honored by Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey with a Certificate of Special Senate Recognition for “innovative veterinary care and outstanding contributions to the community.”
