Liza Ortiz
Patient Care Coordinator
Liza is Patient Care Coordinator for Saint Francis Veterinary Center and is a technician in the department of emergency and critical care. She joined the Saint Francis Veterinary Center team in April 2012, after working as an emergency and treatment nurse for six years at a veterinary specialty and emergency center in Pennsylvania. She is currently in the process of becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). Liza is fascinated by medicine and loves the self fulfillment she feels from nursing pets back to health. She says, “Seeing pets leave healthy brings me so much joy.” Liza has a tuxedo kitten named Misty, which she rescued, and an iguana named Tony. In her free time, Liza enjoys as much time with her children as possible.
