Kendra Pope, DVM, CVA, CVCH, CVFT, CVTP
Veterinarian
Dr. Kendra Pope is a staff veterinarian in both the Center for Animal Physical Therapy and the Institute for the Study of Holistic and Natural Therapies. She completed her rotating internship in Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Services at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012.
Dr. Pope trained at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Reddick, Florida from 2009-2011 and is currently certified as a Veterinary Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist, Food Therapist and Tui-Na Practioner(chinese massage). She graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 as President of her class and earned her BS in Biology and Chemistry from Virginia Tech in 2005.
Dr. Pope currently has one adorable Pomeranian(Fritz) who shares her apartment in Philadelphia. She enjoys cooking and baking, anything active(Zumba!) and exploring the city with friends and family.
